Back in stock notification email

I'd like to allow customers to get notified via email when a product is back in stock. I know this would be possible with my email marketing software, but the more I think about it the more daunting it looks especially when setting this up with tags and for every product. It would be great if SureCart could handle this similar to how they do abandon cart emails.
