Product Customization Fields - Product Options (Not Variants)

Currently there is no way to add custom input fields that allow customers to personalize their purchase. Many eCommerce stores sell customizable products where customers need to input specific details (e.g., text fields for engraving, number entry for jerseys, file uploads for personalized prints, etc.). Key Features Requested: 1. Customizable Fields on Product Pages – Merchants should be able to add text boxes, checkboxes, dropdowns, or file upload fields to individual products without requiring product variants. 2. Seamless Cart & Checkout Integration – Ensure that customer inputs are captured and passed to the cart, order summary, and admin order details. 3. Flexible Pricing Rules (Optional) – Allow additional charges for certain customizations (e.g., $5 extra for adding a name to a t-shirt). 4. Conditional Logic – Show or hide fields based on user selection (e.g., only display a “Custom Name” field if the customer selects “Personalized” from a dropdown). 5. Order Management Visibility – Store and display customer input clearly in the order details for easy fulfillment. Why This Matters: • Custom input fields ≠ product variants. Many businesses need simple personalization options that don’t require variant structures. • Some products require no variants at all but many custom input fields. • Expands SureCart’s usability. This feature would make SureCart ideal for stores selling customized apparel, engraving services, personalized gifts, and more. I believe this would be a valuable addition to SureCart’s feature set and make it a more flexible solution for businesses that rely on product customization. I have at least 5 stores that I'd love to switch to SureCart but am unable to until similar features are added. Thank you for considering this request!
